Nude & Neutral

Nude & neutral colours were a big trend at the Oscar recently...

Maxi evening dress inspired by the Oscar:

Classic Strapless Maxi Dress
(exquisite quality)
RM289.00
Size M

It's Party Time!!

It's Friday... just in time to update some styles for the weekend.

I find this dress is not overly sexy; although it is supposed to be 'sexy'. The olive green in this matte satin has the edgy feel to it. It's tough yet with lots of character.....

You can tell the quality through the reflection on the fabric.

Let's see on the model instead.

It's even better, isn't it?

Sorry for the bra straps shown.... it's still gorgeous.

Ok, in fact you can wear this to your office during the day (if your boss doesn't mind), just add on a jacket and it's just as decent... I guess... :)

Styling 4 - Cruise Collection

Just want to create a look for the classic cruise outfits.

Comfort style:

This combination is the easiest way to match and generally very comfortable. Just get a nice quality white shorts to pair with the stripes top; and you're set to go!

I've tried another styling for the stripes top with tailored cigarrete pants in cinnamon nude. It looks very classy and yet practical. Hope you'll like this. :)

I personally think the peach pink belt with gold buckle, is really going well with the overall colours.

Styling 1 - On Model.

In my last posting, I've dressed/styled few styles through a mannequin.

Now it's time to bust the myth; I did the exact styling on a model. Hope you guys like it!

                      First Styling:

Well, it's without the yellow stocking... I know.

                      2nd Styling:

Just look at the cute detail on the vest... adorable. No?

Styling in WUnderkind - Part 1

It's uncommon to see the stripes on stripes combination on the street. Maybe even a taboo in doing so. There isn't necessarily anything wrong with the look if we try on few stylings before we venture out from home.

Here is my attempt:

Stripes on stripes with a pop of yellow colour legging for more playful approach.

Amazing idea on the buttons detailing by the Japanese.

Isn't this cute? Embellished with lace on print.

Inner basic Zara Lycra Striped Dress (T-Back detail)
RM 55.00

 Embellished Rayon Jersey Top
RM55.00

 EarthMusic&Ecology Striped Vest (Japan)
RM79.00

 Legging Stocking
RM15.00

I was tempted to create another look by replacing the vest with another amazingly designed fringed vest (also from Japan).

Well, the vest has added another dimension to the outfit by creating a multi-layerings.

I am always amazed at the creative process involving japanese designers; no, i am not saying that others are not great but they have the extra (ummph) craziness to it. And it's very wearable too.

So sweet!!

Fringed Vest in peach colour (Japan)

By now,you might think that's all, BUT I did another final attempt to create another look with more drastic changes. Here is the result:

I've added a scarf, and changed the vest (again!) and took off the stocking; to create more edgy look to it.

A close-up to see the scarf sandwiched neatly between the vest and top. It's interesting to see such transformation by layering pieces available.

Back details.

Leopard prints scarf (Korea)
RM55.00

Tailored Chiffon Vest with Crochet (Korea)
RM109.00

As you can see, vests are not easy to match but if to use slightly more imagination by layering your outfits, it could creates many aesthetic feminine styles.

Hope to see you on next styling...

BoyFriend Jeans...

Though not so popular in SEA countries, but the trend has emerged throughout the Europe recently. Even the ever super-stylish Jenna (who has turned JCrew to a coolest casual-brand in US) has been spotted wearing one. (pictures courtesy of the Sartorialist).

By the way, here is the look that can be styled through WUnderkind pieces:

Tweed cropped jacket - very 60's
RM129.00
Material - rayon tweed
one size.

Some may argue it only suits Westerner, but the below styling is very much suitable for much casual approach and some could even style it with a 'tudung' (scarf to cover head for our Muslim' community).

It's just an effortlessly stylish and at the same time comfortable.

Anyone interested?

Ok, based on the above style, I re-styled it to:

I think it's quiet cool to have it with a tailored jacket and a twist with leopard print chiffon blouse.

Sharp tailoring and edgy cut for the lapels.
